There is so much talk everywhere about people living longer lives than previous generations. I want to help people not only to add even more years to their lives but also (and arguably even more importantly) to add life to those years. Habits are often set early in life so encouraging people into healthier lifestyles and healthier diets in their early adult life will make it easier for those people to maintain their good habits as old father time creeps up on them. However, its never too late to start and that is what I am about. I want to work with you to help you to achieve your goals of feeling good, looking better, loosing weight, toning the body or whatever. From my own experiences as an amateur sportsman I discovered that things had to be right off the field if they were going to be right on the field. It follows that feeling fitter, better, stronger and ready to meet life head on will yield all manner of benefits for every other aspects of your life – family, mental health, relationships, professional progression and whatever else is important to you.

My Qualifications
I am a Level 2 gym instructor, working towards becoming a Level 3 personal trainer.
I am newly qualified.

My coaching speciality is very simple, I coach people to a healthier, happier and fuller life.
As we age hormonal changes in our bodies result in loss of muscle and weaker bones, this applies to all of us but I’m sorry ladies but it’s more pronounced for you than it is for us chaps. This threatens to make us less mobile and more prone to trips and falls and the consequences, as well as the likelihood, of such accidents increases. A well thought out progressive exercise regime will halt, even reverse all that. No two people are alike so I believe it is important to tailor an exercise regime for the individual: develop something that achieves their aims but also recognises their interests, preferences, time available, etc
Coaching Philosophy
What Clients Can Expect
We will start with a health check and then have an introductory meeting for me to learn a little about your current lifestyle. We can then talk about exercise preferences, dietary habits, personal goals and realistic time frames. We can then work together to devise a strategy to reach your goals through a detailed progressive program of agreed targets to change eating habits and activity levels. Finally we will meet regularly to record progress, discuss next steps and overcome any regressions
The outcome will depend upon the goals you set for yourself but typical outcomes could be loosing weight, being and feeling fitter, having more zest for life or all of the above.

I once played rugby with Denise Lewis, the former heptathlete turned sports commentator.
While walking across Clapham common one summers evening with nothing on my my mind, a voice shouted across and asked if I fancied balancing up the sides in a game of touch rugby. The voice cam from a man I immediately recognised as Joe Ansbro, the first man of African origin to play rugby for Scotland. How could I turn the legend down. Imagine my surprise when I was lined up facing another legend in the from of Denise Lewis. All I remember is being mesmerised by her running style, she didn’t run as much as flow over the ground.
